Join us for a SCUL photowalk in Aldershot, exploring the streets, everyday details and overlooked corners of the town, including a visit to Aldershot Raceway. Meet at Aldershot Train Station. Any camera, any experience level – everyone is welcome.

Eric says: “Britain is not a country in sudden crisis. It is a country in slow conflict with itself — with its own responsibilities, its own promises, its own image. These photographs do not resolve that conflict. They simply refuse to look away from it.”

Discover Southampton’s modern urban landscape through your lens in this exciting new collaboration between London Camera Exchange (LCE) and the South Coast Urban Landscape Collective (SCUL).
Join us for a free, guided 2-hour photo walk through Southampton City Centre, where we’ll focus on iconic Brutalist architecture and striking urban views.
Meet the Experts:
SCUL founders Jan and Tom will be joined by regular group members, showcasing a mix of film and digital setups.
Grab a Free Coffee:
Start and end your walk with a complimentary coffee courtesy of LCE.
Shoot & Win:
Submit your best shot of the day for a chance to win a £20 LCE Gift Voucher! The top 3 images, chosen by LCE and SCUL, will be printed and displayed at both LCE Southampton branches for a month.
Take Home a Print:
Enjoy a free print of your favourite photo (6x4" minimum; larger sizes subject to availability).
Meeting Point:
LCE Southampton Civic branch at 9:30am (11 Civic Centre Road, SO14 7FJ). The walk starts at 10:00am and finishes at the High Street branch around midday.
Route: Approx. 1.5 miles through key urban spots, including Wyndham Court flats, the disused Toys’R’Us building, and Spa Road’s modernist blocks.
Free to Attend: No charge for participants.
